Acts 28:31
"My lips will glorify You because Your faithful love is better than life. Hey all, thank you for your prayers and support! I can't believe it's been a full year (and one month) since I began this journey. Thank you all for joining me in each of your capacities. In prayer, financial support, and even just reading this blog. Your support means so much to me and I appreciate every bit of it! In just a short year, the Lord has moved swiftly and benevolently in providing financial support through some of you and others that haven't read my blog. With each part of this process it becomes abundantly clear that the Lord is indeed in this with me. Doors have been opening starting with NAMB's endorsement, selling t-shirts, speaking with potential partners for financial support. Getting accepted to Seminary, and even applying for this Student Visa. I can assure you this entire time, I've been nervous because I've never tried doing anything like this. I've talked about wanting to visit Japan, and teach in Japan, but I never actually tried it. I'm actually trying and applying to move to another Country right now. It's getting surreal. You, reader, are an important part in this because of your support. Thank you for it. I have an important announcement to make this month. I've been reporting to you all about my passport for the past few months, and honestly I'd been expecting my passport later next month. As a result, I differed my acceptance to Seminary for the Spring Semester. Well, I have some great news, I got my Passport back about two weeks ago! Shortly after I posted last month's blog, my passport was renewed and returned! Now I've sent off my Study Permit application to Immigration Canada and this will take roughly 11 weeks to process. My rough estimation puts that at the end of September. I'm hoping to share some good news with you all then or earlier Lord willing, about that status. Until then I will begin sharing some information about the communities and the team I have the pleasure of serving alongside! God has indeed been good. He's been better to me than I could ever imagine. This fall my plan is to continue working as a Teaching Assistant for the fall. Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School System is still trying to approve the school schedule and opening with the proper safety measures and policies due to COVID-19. Thank you all for your prayers and I look forward to updating you all next month! Prayer Requests
